New JerseyThe New Jersey Statewide Utility Safety Team (NJSUST) was formed to promote safety of the public and responders, specific to New Jersey. NJSUST has developed free training and resources for use by the New Jersey emergency response community which are available on NJ Learn,, the official e-learning management system that the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness manages for New Jersey Certified and Sworn First Responders.

New YorkThe NYSPERI held its first steering committee meeting August 2017 in Albany, NY. The committee has set a preliminary goal of June 1, 2019 for having a training curriculum and plan in place and ready to roll out statewide.

Pennsylvania Pipeline Emergency Responders Initiative
In February 2019, PAPERI piloted a two-hour awareness level training that the steering committee had jointly developed over previous months.
