Summary
This proposal would require the last operator of an abandoned pipeline, offshore and, or, crossing under, over or through navigable waterways to submit a report of the abandonment to the Secretary of Transportation. This notice responds to a Congressional mandate. The results of this proposal would be a central depository of information about underwater abandoned pipelines.
