As the COVID-19 public health emergency continues, multiple companies are continuing to produce products, such as hand sanitizer and other alcohol-based products, that are essential to response efforts.  To continue to provide appropriate guidance and facilitate the increased availability of these important products, PHMSA is extending its temporary relief from certain requirements, while also expanding it to include rail transportation, until October 31, 2020.
