Respondent was assessed a civil penalty of $16,950 for six violations of the HMR when it offered for transportation in commerce and transported in commerce flammable liquid and corrosive hazardous materials in packagings which were not accompanied by a shipping paper describing these hazardous materials (violation No. 1); were not authorized because they were not marked as meeting an authorized UN performance standard in the HMR (violation No. 2); were not secured, including preventing relative motion between packagings, within the vehicle on which they were being transported (violation No. 3); were not labeled with hazard class warning labels (violation No. 4); were not marked with the proper shipping name and UN identification number (violation No. 7); and its employees had not received hazmat employee training (violation No. 5).  One alleged violation dismissed.
