About Programs & Inspection Teams

The Programs & Inspection team page contains information on the various programs within Field Operations. These programs are designed to enhance safety and ensure full compliance with the HMR. The programs also provide oversight of manufacturing, certification, and requalification processes. This page also provides information on Inspection teams within the Field Operations Division that conduct face-to-face outreach, respond to hazardous materials transportation training concerns, conduct inspection and oversight of transportation of lithium batteries, and provide uniform oversight of shipments of certain Infectious substances.
