Respondent was assessed a civil penalty of $17,100 for four violations of the HMR when itwhen it offered for transportation, in commerce, a hazardous material (UN3090, Lithium battery, 9, PG II), and it failed to mark the package with the proper shipping name and UN identification number; failed to properly label the package; failed to provide a proper shipping paper; and failed to create and maintain training records.
