The pipeline safety state seminars are hosted by the states who provide updated information on pipeline safety issues and notices for 49 CFR Parts 191 and 192. Time permitting, additional subjects are presented based on participants' requests. Instructors from the Inspector Training and Qualifications Division participate in these state-hosted seminars. However, the seminars are generally open to federal, state, and local government personnel, as well as pipeline safety entities, including public utilities, gas producers, and pipeline operators. Questions about specific locations of the seminars, agenda topics, registration, etc. should be directed to the respective state pipeline safety office.
