On November 10, 1971, the Department Issued Notice 71-6 that was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER November 16, 1971. It proposed an amendment to § 192.201 (a) to change the restriction on accidental pressure buildup in pipelines other than low-pressure distribution systems which have a maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of less than 60 p.s.i.g.
