Document
48-fr-10092.pdf (1.08 MB)

This notice invites comments on the problem of conducting electrical tests of cathodic protection systems and electrical surveys to determine areas of active corrosion. Compliance with current requirements is controversial for pipelines located in areas that are subject to stray electrical currents or beneath continuous paving. Comments received will be considered'with a view to proposing specific changes to the existing requirements for monitoring of external corrosion control.
