This Notice proposes to amend the present requirements for the reporting of gas leaks and test failures by a gas pipeline operator. In compliance with Executive Order 12291, a regulatory review was conducted to determine if the present leak reporting forms presented a, burden which could be reduced. As a result of this review and a desire to reduce the burden of paperwork due to reporting forms, this Notice presents for comment completely revised annual and incident reporting forms, and revised requirements for telephonic, incident, and annual reports.
