The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) is announcing the postponement of a public meeting of the Technical Pipeline Safety Standards Committee, also known as the Gas Pipeline Advisory Committee (GPAC) and the postponement of a joint meeting of the GPAC and the Technical Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Safety Standards Committee, also known as the Liquid Pipeline Advisory Committee (LPAC). The GPAC was scheduled to meet September 7-8, 2017, to continue discussing the proposed rule titled, "Safety of Gas Transmission and Gathering Pipelines." The joint meeting of the LPAC and GPAC was scheduled for September 6, 2017. PHMSA is rescheduling the meeting due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey. When established, PHMSA will issue another notice in the Federal Register with the rescheduled date, time, and location for this meeting.
