PHMSA to Hold Public Meeting of the Voluntary Information-Sharing System Working Group. The U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) announced today it will hold a public meeting of the recently created Voluntary Information-Sharing System (VIS) Working Group on June 29 and 30, 2017 in Arlington, Virginia to continue the discussion on the need for, and identification of, a voluntary information-sharing system for pipeline owners and operators. The meeting will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT on June 29, 2017, and 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on June 30, 2017 at the Hilton Arlington, 950 North Stafford Street, Arlington, VA 22203.
