PHMSA held a public briefing on Saturday, February 11, 2023 and provided information regarding the Freeport LNG incident that occurred on June 8, 2022, and an update of subsequent actions taken to safeguard the community.

Individuals with questions or concerns regarding PHMSA’s oversight of Freeport LNG can submit them to PHMSAPublicAffairs@dot.gov.  The question/comment period will remain open for up to six months.  PHMSA will then compile its responses to all questions and comments received on its website.
