In support of its mission to advance pipeline safety and strengthen operational excellence, PHMSA convenes public events that foster collaboration and information-sharing among government, industry, and academic stakeholders. These engagements help clarify key challenges, communicate current initiatives, and identify practices that improve safety and reliability across the energy sector. As part of this effort, the National Center of Excellence for Liquefied Natural Gas Safety (National LNG Center) hosts a monthly webinar series, “Prioritizing Safety: Best Practices in LNG.” These one-hour virtual sessions bring together LNG experts to share leading practices that enhance safety and operational performance beyond minimum regulatory requirements.
