Dear Mr. Morikawa:
The Installation of a regulator in an alcove with a louvered door facing the outside of a building would not meet §§192.355(b)(2) or 192.357(d). Under these regulations, the vent outlet of a regulator installed inside a building must be located outside to assure that any gas escaping through the vent is released in the outside atmosphere.
