Dear Mr. Powers

This is in reply to your letter dated July 15, 1991, in which you asked whether "extruded outlet headers manufactured from pipe materials listed in 195.106, designed for reinforcement under the provisions of ANSI B31.4 Paragraph 404.3.1b, . . ." meet the requirements of Part 195.

Judging from the information given in your letter, we see no conflict with the requirements of Part 195. However, there are design requirements not mentioned in your letter (i.e., §195.102, §195.104, §195.112, §195.118) as well as construction (§195.200), testing (§195.300) and operation and maintenance requirements (§195.400) which must also be considered in order to be in full compliance with the regulations.

We hope this information meets your needs.

Sincerely,

SIGNED

Melvin. A. Judah
