Archived Rulemaking: Transportation of Hazardous Liquids by Pipeline Retention of Radiographic Film
This notice proposes to delete the requirement in § 195.234(g) to retain radiographic film for 3 years after a pipeline is placed in service and to map the location of the radiographed welds. The existing rule does not appear to enhance safety, but does impose a significant cost burden.
