After completion of the written program, operators will have established audience members, message content, delivery methods and frequencies, and enhancements to the baseline program. A variety of methods are available to identify the individual members of a stakeholder audience and are summarized in Appendix B of API RP 1162. Although not recommended in API RP 1162, many operators also surveyed stakeholder awareness of messages before implementing the API RP 1162-style program.
